"Mommy, please don't shave your head... I won't recognize you then!," my sister's oldest child told her the night before she went in front of a crowd of hundreds and shaved her head, raising money in donation for childhood cancer research. My sister has guts, and she cares about her family immensely. Tearing up just as to the thought of a child getting cancer, my sister felt a need to help, to donate, to raise awareness as to how many children are affected by the disease. Teaming up with St Baldrick's, (www.stbaldricks.org), she and many other moms, dads, sisters, brothers, friends and family members shaved their heads in support of finding a cure.
